Ingredients
- 2 SLICES RUDI’S ORGANIC BAKERY® MULTIGRAIN OAT BREAD
- 2-3 SLICES MOZZARELLA CHEESE
- 1 HEIRLOOM TOMATO
- 1 TEASPOON BALSAMIC VINEGAR
- 2 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
- ¼ CUP FRESH BASIL
- SALT AND PEPPER TO TAST
Step 1
Layer cheese, tomatoes, and basil on a slice of bread. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar and top with a second slice of bread
Step 2
Brush both sides of the sandwich with olive oil
Step 3
Using either a panini press or a heavy skillet over medium heat, press down on the sandwich, (if using the two pans method, flip the sandwich so you can press on both sides).
Step 4
Cut in half and let cool before serving
